When its time to say Goodbye

in home euthanasia

Having to put down your pet can be a stressful and emotional time. We can take a little bit of that away by coming to your home where you and your pet are in familiar surroundings.

Our process ensures your pet remains relaxed throughout the process and it is generally very peaceful and quick.

We can also take your pet away and organise cremation for you, or you can bury at home.

Knowing when the right time is always hard; here are some resources to help with knowing when to make the tough decision.

Pet cremations

We use family company Pet Cremations Ltd for all our Pet Cremations.

They guarantee when getting ashes returned to you, you will only receive your own pets ash.

Options for ashes not returned (if memories are enough) scatter boxes (cardboard urns so you can plant, scatter or inurn in your own container- Pictured) or a Wooden Casket (with brass plaque and engraved message)

They also make clay paw prints and have memorial lockets.

If you pet passes away at home and you are unsure what to do, give our caring team a call we can collect and arrange cremation. Returned ashes can be collected from our Kumeu clinic.

Reterniti stones

Keep your precious pet close with a handmade Reterniti Stone or Pebble created from your pet’s ashes with the addition of natural binders. Each Reterniti Stone comes on its own hand-turned wood plinth nestled on a bed of lambswool whilst the smaller Reterniti Pebble is presented in a carry pouch within a sliding box.

After your pet has been cremated we can arrange to transport the ashes to the team at Reterniti

The upmost care is taken to hand craft your pets ashes into a Reterniti stone, this can be done any time after cremation, we have a sample stone at our clinic in Kumeu if you would like to see or feel one.
