Lewis Mackinnon BVSc
Veterinarian
Lewis hails from Mt Albert but has close ties with Piha. Lewis graduated in 2020, and before joining our team worked as an emergency vet, and also spent eight months working as a vet in Cambodia for a charitable trust.
Lewis's favorite part of the job is meeting our lovely clients (humans and their furry friends!)
For fun when he's not out vetting Lewis plays Saxophone and is a solid member of the Your Mobile Vet squash team.
Amy Brown BVSc
Veterinarian
Dr Amy Brown was born in South Korea where her parents were both English teachers, and came back to NZ when she was a year and a half old.
Amy started her Veterinary career in New Plymouth before moving north to Auckland where as well as surgeries and consults she did a lot of pre-departure and export work.
One of her favorite things about being a mobile vet is how most cats are so much more relaxed and happy at home than in clinic.
When not busy being a vet, Amy is competitive dancer and avid book reader (and collector!)
Janine Pembrooke RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Janine Pembrooke is a registered nurse, with us since December 2023, Janine was born in Phalaborwa in South Africa and came out to NZ in 2017 with her husband and Whippet Twill.
Janine qualified as a nurse at the University of Pretoria. Before settling in Auckland she worked in Gisborne, Tauranga, Cambridge and then VSA as a specialist nurse.
When not at work, she can be found with her horse Tonic, in the garden or drawing.
She has interests in barefoot trimming, equine massage and clipping horses.
She also has three cats and is a bit of a cat guru, and has a fondness for birds and is great with advice for our feathered friends (available for nurse consults if you have issues with chickens!!)
Rebecca Hobson -Carter RVN
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Becky has lived in the Norwest all her life, originally from Waitakere. Graduating from Unitech as a vet nurse in 2007, she then went on to become head nurse at her first clinic post graduation, before taking on the role of practice manager for a clinic on the North shore.
A child and a role in administration (The Country Club in Kumeu) gave Becky a break from vet nursing, and she is now back nursing with the Your Mobile Vet team.
Becky loves meeting new clients and pets, enjoys the variety of the mobile vet role. Her admin skills are fantastic to help with day to day running of the clinic.
We are super lucky to have Becky with her wide range of knowledge and skills on our team!

Definately a dog lover when not at work Faye loves spending time with her neices or down the beach with her doggos.
Angela Nobilo
Angela Nobilo has been with the team since 2022, taking the lead with admin and logistics - her role is to keep the train on the tracks.
A lifelong love of animals saw her step into the veterinary world in 2022 - and she absolutely loves it - Best things about her role is the "wonderful team that makes coming to work fun, and the wonderful people we get to help daily, as well as their furry friends."
A local to the Nor West, and avid Equestrian when not at work she can be found running horse shows (Locally and Nationally) or as NZ SJ Steward/clean sport tester, at pub quiz, or as the less solid member of the Your Mobile Vet Squash team.
